SG50 Stamp Design Competition
A stamp design competition I took part in and collaborated with People's Association and Singpost Singapore for the 50th Anniversary of Citizen's Consultative Committee.
My approach was to engage different races in Singapore together to celebrate a very special event.
I created the "egg-like" characters with the intention of bringing a light-heartedness mood in my work. With a concept so easy to absorb, I thought I had fulfil the objective of communicating my design across.
What meant to be a light-hearted piece of work actually turned out to be the winning piece. I was very overwhelmed by the experience and exposure I was given, and I really appreciated it.
